  1. Those posts on Driscoll are really concerning. I've basically come to the same conclusion... which is sad.

  4. I finally read the post by Peter Enns. It's very concerning, look at this quote:

"I could see that, despite the many tremendous books out there on science and faith, few, if any, books were taking on the hermeneutical issues surrounding evolution—they weren’t dealing head on with the question, “How specifically do I read Genesis and Paul now that you’ve convinced me that evolution is true and that science and faith can live in harmony?”

Convinced me that evolution is true?! evolution is a THEORY, not one of the thousands of theories science has dreamed up have ever been proven. they preach it as fact, and are successful because the majority of people are to lazy to research for themselves. Any christian who is convinced that evolution is true is deceived and God is giving them over to their dillusions. This may sound harsh, but the truth offends. and I personally believe that if (we) are led astray by fine sounding arguements (I have a phd. so I know what I'm talking about) than God will allow us to be decieved.

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. Colossians 2:8
